Here’s the straight talk on what vehicles our disabler works with. The main rule is simple: it works on almost any GM vehicle with AFM/DFM, except for the specific exclusions listed below.   

🚫 What It Won't Work On (Important!)

• ❌ Does NOT fit 2023 or 2024 model year trucks or SUVs of any kind (Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, etc.).

Easy Plug & Play Installation

Step 1: Find your OBD port

Locate your vehicle’s OBD‑II port (usually under the dash near the steering wheel).

Step 2: Plug in

Plug the AFM/DFM Disabler into the port—you can do this with the engine on or off.

• If the vehicle is off: The LED will blink a few times and then turn off. That’s normal—it’s in standby mode.

• If the vehicle is on: The first blue light lights up after plugging in, then the second one flashes. All lights will fade out shortly after turning off the engine.

Q: Will it pass emissions testing?

A: The device itself won’t cause you to fail, but we always recommend removing it before any state emissions test since they usually scan the OBD-II port as part of the inspection.

A: Unfortunately, no. A collapsed lifter is a mechanical failure that requires physical repair. Our device is designed to prevent lifter failure, not fix existing damage.

Q: Does it cause issues with the myChevrolet (or myGMC) app?
